Should Twitter Worry?

I just found a new micro-blogging tool called “Cinch”. It’s pretty cool because in addition to being able to do a podcast, you can also add video. I shared it on Facebook and it added it to my profile page. I can see how it might be useful for web traffic because it allows you to just use you phone to create content. It’s always easier for me to create contend as a spoken word rather than writing it down. I would rather just say it and then edit it later. The more content you create, the better off you are, provided your content is interesting, funny and or useful. If the video part of the service works well then I could see Cinch as a great way to video blog. Two more features deserve mention. First, there is an iphone app and a way to build your network. So you could actually use your cell phone to interview people. Plus you can upload photos as well as videos. Check it out especially if you like using Twitter.

Try Video

I have to admit I’ve had some considerations about doing more video blogging on this website. I have been involved in some professional video production and even worked as DP on a short that was used for a popular TV show. But all that was back in the day. It’s YouTube time now, and it’s a fantastic tool to add and keep traffic. Now I know you’re worried that it is too hard and your stuff might look bad. Well, have you taken a good look at the quality of most YT videos. It isn’t great. And besides the obvious fact that most people get captured by TV or any other video they see, it can also add tons of traffic. Yes I am talking about your boring story about your business. Guess what, it probably isn’t boring to other people.  But my explanation and discussion is not as focused as Zeke Camusio’s. Read his article and follow his advice. I plan to use it. Watch for upcoming videos on this site. In fact I think I will invite Zeke to do a guest interview or blog post. Here are his 10 Ways To Use YouTube.
